Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus for Students

As of December 2013 students in Baden-Württemberg can acquire Microsoft Office 365 at low cost.

Students of the University of Freiburg can obtain a license for Office 365 for €4.39 per year via www.bildung365.de. Students have also access to a Windows 10 Education product key. All students of all faculties can acquire this offer.

Who can acquire Microsoft Office 365?

All University of Freiburg students who have an university account.

How can I acquire Office 365?

Go to www.bildung365.de and select the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg as your institution. You will be redirected to the MyLogin page. Here you enter your university account and your central password. You will be forwarded to bildung365.

It is necessary that you register with Microsoft Online Services.

Signing up automatically creates an account for the Microsoft Online Services.

How can I extend my subscription?

You can extend your subscription every year by log on bildung365.de.

Who can answer my questions, if I have problems with the service?

The IT Service Center does not give any support. However, you can get technical support from DrVis Mon-Sun from 9am-2pm by emailing officesupport@drvis.de or using the contact form on bildung365.de.

Due to frequent requests because of activation issues, here are a few steps that may help you resolve them:

The license for Office 365 must be revalidated once a year. Please try to log in on the bildung365.de portal with your Uniaccount.

Check there whether the term of your subscription is still running and extend it if it has already expired.

Then try to log in with the bewedu.de account (important! This is your Microsoft account) on www.office.com.

If the login works here, then you should be able to activate Word, etc. again with the bwedu.de account. If you have forgotten your password, you can change it on bildung365.de.
