Research Data Management Principles

After being approved by the Rectorate and presented to the Senate, the Research Data Management Principles set by the Research Data Management Group and involved institutions like FRS, UB and IT Services is now here.

The responsible handling of research data is critical for confirming research results, the advancement of science and the dissemination of knowledge. The recently introduced principles are aimed at all individuals involved in research at Freiburg University.

Research Data Management has become increasingly important in recent times. This has made efficient subsequent use of research data a more pressing issue as well. Apart from the verification of research data, science is facing many other challenges. Further infortmation and notes can also be found through the Research Data Management Group (RDMG).
