New data management colleague in bwHPC-S5 (eScience department)
The eScience department is gaining a new team member who will be working on the topic of data management (for Data Intensive Computing and HPC of the NEMO communities) for the state project bwHPC-S5. He will assist the activities involving design and acquisition of bwSFS.
On October 15, a new colleague (Kolja Glogowski, 50%) took up his position surrounding data management for the state-wide bwHPC-S5 project, which is funded by the MWK. He is part of the eScience department and will work with the HPC team. Central topics are the development and provision of services for the FDM (research data management) and Data Intensive Computing for the NEMO-HPC communities as well as the assistance in definition, tendering, structure and operation of the Freiburg part of bwSFS.
