Today the PC pools was officially opened with speeches by the prorector for digital transformation, students of the SVB committee (provision of considerable quantitiy of equipment), student body of the Geography faculty and the heads of the departments E-Learning and E-Science. There are now over 160 modern workstations availabe, each with flexible work environments. This allows for the computers to be used in courses, for independent practicing or, at a later point, for E-Exams.

Many thanks are owed to various indivuals and institutions for their work and support over the last couple years: To the IT Services secretary team for the coordination of the various steps of the process, to the colleagues from the Operations Department for the assembly (PCs, printers, media technics), the IT Services Net Group for the provision of the network infrastructure all the way up to the socket, to the Windows Group from the Central Services Department for the installation of the Windows platform, to the bwLehrpool Team from the E-Science Department for the provision of the platform and the extensions for the flexible controlling and the room occupany display, to the E-Learning Department for their contribution to the planning for E-Exams, to the SMS Team for setting up the room booking system in HISinOne and to the Azubis from the ERASMUS for installing the electronic door displays. All this project would not have been possible without all these individuals and groups coming together.
