edacticLab - Developing (digital) teaching concepts and competences together

Applications for the 2nd pilot phase still possible

The joint qualification format of the departments of e-learning and university didactics and digital teaching development as well as the university didactics of the Freiburg University of Education "edacticLab" offers teachers the opportunity to further develop and test their digital teaching skills on a project basis.

The programme runs over two semesters and is compact and flexible in terms of both content and time. From the beginning, the participants develop a teaching-learning concept based on their own questions, which they then implement and present in the second semester. During the first semester, four modules on relevant media-didactic and media-technical focal points are developed parallel to the participants' own concept.

Topics are: "Online Collaboration and Interaction", "Online Feedback and Assessment", "Learning Modules and Open Educational Resources" and "Blended Learning and Flipped Classroom". Online and face-to-face meetings provide space for joint consolidation, discussion and exchange. The workload in the first semester is 50 units and in the second 10 units.

Participation in the edacticLab can be awarded with the edactic certificate of the University of Freiburg after consultation and can be credited towards the HD-BW certificate.

There are still places available for teachers at the University of Freiburg for the second pilot phase in summer semester 2023.
