Compute and storage infrastructue of the bwCloud SCOPE

Since the bwCloud SCOPE was released at the beginning of last month, the old bwCloud will be suspended on 28.09.2018 at 12 p.m. (half a year later than intended). The ressource shortages such as insufficient IP addresses or storage space shortage are hereby eliminated. As mentioned during test operations, there will be no automatic VM migration. Those who wish to continue using cloud ressources should register for bwCloud SCOPE. For this, you will be asked to accept the updated terms of use (as part of the registration process).

Unfortunately, we cannot provide individual support for the migration to the new cloud. Please refer to the FAQs on the bw-cloud.org website.

The bwCloud is a state project supported by the MWK which operates infrastructure for research and teaching at four locations in Baden-Württemberg. The support for the project in Freiburg is provided by the eScience department of the IT Services.
