bwCloud: expansion at short-notice of the (old) CEPH
The CEPH was expanded at short-notice by approx. 7 Tbyte (brutto) by the local bwCloud team of the eScience department in order to keep the trial operation up to the launch of the new hardware.
Before the step by step launch of the new bwCloud hardware in the coming weeks, the CEPH block storage was expanded at short-notice by approx. 7 TByte (turining hard drives). After the configuration, an expanded CEPH storage is now available, which should hopefully be enough up to the end of the trial operation. This should reduce the probability of another malfunction.
