Separation of admin forum and discussions surrounding FDM
The admin forum has been increasingly used as a discussion platform by various IT representatives of the university, the computer center and others. Since that has worked well, there is now a larger amount of threads. To keep the focus here, the admin forum and discussions surrounding the topic of research data management have been separated.
Nowadays, the admin forum ( as one of the communication chanels of the University IT Services) has an established community and a large amount of topics. In the interest of not cluttering it and keeping the topical focus, a new sub-section "RDMG - Forschungsdaten" to research data management has been created in the Continuing Education ILIAS. This section is aimed at researches as well as administrators and other persons that deal with the subject.
