Current Windows 7 Update is impeding activation through KMS
A new Windows 7 system security update from January 8, 2019 can impede an activation through KMS.
As mentioned in a statement by Microsoft, the activation of Windows 7 systems can be impeded by the security update KB 971033 from January 8, 2019. Should your system be affected, Microsoft suggests the deinstallation of the update. After that, an activation should be possible again.
