Student Helpdesk

Here you can find support for IT-related problems

Can’t enter the University’s wireless network on your laptop? Have questions regarding the Uni-Account? Or simply need some guidance from IT student ‘experts’? Then come to our student helpdesk in the University IT Services or in the main University library (UB2). Bring your laptop with you in and get help in setting up the WLAN or VPN. We can also explain how the Univeristy IT Services work in order to help you manage in the future.

The helpdesk is available Monday through Friday in the University IT Services Building (address is Hermann-Herder-Straße 10) in the lower level next to the computer labs. These students are available to answer questions while you are using the computer labs and may be able to help with personal computer problems. However, if experiencing more serious problems with your laptop (such as defects or viruses), we recommend directly contacting the computer company or  any professional computer service center.
