Printer and Plotter
The computer workstations in the Central Information Service Center are connected to printers, which are available to the public. You can also access these printers with a personal lap-top through the VPN/WLAN client.
For larger documents (i.e. thesis papers), color laser printers are available. To access these printers, you need a valid Uni-Account and enough credit available on your printing account. The total cost of printing is automatically withdrawn from the printing account (not to be confused with the UniCard Account!).

Printing eligibilty/ Printer account
In order to use the printers available at the Information Technology Center, a valis Uni-Account is necessary.
Every Uni-Account automatically has a printing account, which allows individual access to printing rights and where printing is charged (see below).
Students have limited access to the printers in the computer labs of the Information Techology Center and the University library. For final thesis papers, the color laser printer in the Information Technology Center is available. Please use the printing services located on the ground floor
The Central Information Technology Center allows students employed by a University institute to use the printers for the purposes of their work. However, these students must have a valid Employee-Uni-Account supplied by the institute of their employment.
University employees are given rights to use all the printers in the ITS.
Printing Costs
The cost per page of printing is found in the previous explanations.
Students must have sufficient funds on their printing accounts in order to print. You can add credit electronically through myAccount.
For employees, the printing costs will be cleared with your institute of employment. In the case of any doubts, it is the responsibility of the employee to find out his or her institute will cover the costs.
Printer Installation
Due to the current restructuring of the printing and accounting system, the only way to place orders for the plotter or the color laser printer is to visit the graphic workstation located in the entrance to the printer center of the Information Service Center.

Plotter
It is possible to print posters up to size DIN A0, however, this service is only available for justified cases, e.g. for the purposes of a lecture.
