Lecture series: digitalisation in research and teaching

Jan 31, 2019 03:39 PM

Online lecture series by the University IT Services every Tuesday, 11.30 a.m. - 12.15 p.m.

Whether in teaching, administration or research: In everyday university life you are repeatedly confronted by IT cases that often raise questions: How do I configure Windows 10 so that it lives up to data privacy standards? How and where do I safely store my research data? How do I best keep my data safe? What are the tasks, rights and duties of an admin? How and where can I create online exams? How do I activate my students through the learning platform ILIAS?

The University IT Services would like to tackle these and many other questions and offer insight into the diverse range of topics. Therefore, it is offering an online lecture series during the 2017/18 winter semester. It will take place on Tuesdays from 11.30 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. (except on public holidays). After an approximately 30 minute long presentation you will have the chance to ask questions and have discussions. The dates will all be announced seperately with a short description of the topic.

The lecture series will take place online through Adobe Connect and will also be recorded. It is open to all employees of the University of Freiburg. You can find the event room here. It will be opened 10 minutes before the start.
