Instructions for move to bwCloud space in Self-Service: The bwCloud team has made some step by step instructions available for the move to the new bwCloud, in the Self-Service. Machines that are not moved automatically before the switch-off of the old cloud will be shut down.
Interruption on TSM server "arch2" due to reorganisation works: Unfortunately, before the migration to new hardware, a redistribution of the disk space has to happen between arch and arch2 after all. During the works, arch2 will not be accesible.

Solved: Backup/archive service disturbance: All service instances are fully operational again since 10 a.m..
bwCloud SCOPE in production/switch-off on 28.09.2018: The self service infrastructure bwCloud SCOPE started production operation at the beginning of last month. This means that significantly larger infrastructure is available. Due to this, the test operation of the old bwCloud will be suspended on September 28, 2018 at 12 p.m.. If needed, please migrate to the new SCOPE space.
IT Service assessment regarding current spam wave: An assessment is published in the anruf (German), regarding how to react to spam mail of the newest wave.

Friday, June 22, 2018 at 8 a.m.: Firmware upgrade of biology router: Due to an error, we must install new firmware on the biology router. All buildings in the biology area, VoIP, telephone services and Wifi are affected. The interruption will last approx. 10 minutes.
June 20, 2018, between 7.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m.: Adobe Connect Update: During this time, online meetings will unfortunately not be possible!
bwLehrpool: Service interruption, VM Storage: Due to the maintenance work on the data server main system, which will take place on June 15 between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., bwLehpool interruptions are to be expected.

HISinOne DEMO system not available: Due to technical difficulties, the HISinOne DEMO system is currently not available. We will post an update here as soon as the issues have been resolved.
First RDMG info event to research data management: On June 7, the first info event surrounding the topic research data management at the University Freiburg took place for some members of the SFB 1015 "Muße". The RDMG is currently a virtual organisation of the University library, the University IT Services and the FRS, which should push the topic on campus.
