New: Tablet Computer in for Testing
We have had a control panel installed for some time in the computer lab in room -113 and we now are testing a tablet computer for the Pool Video Switch (PVS).
As has been requested in other places was are testing a tablet computer in the University IT Services computer labs. This mobile, PVS console has taken the form of a tablet computer (modified WeTab using Linux) and can access WLAN in all computer labs. If this tool proves useful, we foresee further tablet computers for the other rooms. Please find the see the Wiki's (in German) Guidelines for the Video Switch.
