Workshop for lecturers: Content Authoring - Creating interactive teaching material
Multimedia, digital teaching materials can be created with the help of so-called authoring tools by using already existing classroom teaching materials such as PowerPoint slides and scripts. These can be used perfectly in self-instruction phases like for example a Blended Learning or Flipped Classroom concept, as well as for the evening out of previous knowledge or exam preparation. However, some rules must be followed when designing these to achieve a significant learning result. One also needs to put enough thought into a well-balanced mix of media and its integration into the didactical concept.
With the help of the workshop, participants will get to know various tools and methods used for the digital refurbishment of learning material. Programs that will be used include Adobe Presenter, Camtasia and the ILIAS learning module. The participants will also have the possibility of creating an e-lecture from of their own learning material.
