ViCE Workshop on Corpus Linguistics

The ViCE project team is excited to announce the new BW-DESC website and a two-day graduate workshop on corpus linguistics.

The workshop is organized by Prof. Christian Mair and Julia Müller, and will take place at the University of Freiburg on November 16 and 17, 2017. The program will feature two keynote talks by Prof. Mark Davies of Brigham Young University (BYU), in which he will discuss the potential of the current BYU corpus-linguistic working environment as well as the potential for further development. The core element, however, is interactive sessions in which students working with the corpora will have the opportunity to present and discuss their research with the compiler himself.
