All news of the University IT Services of the year 2012.

On Firday, January 11, 2013, there will be an update to version 15. From 12 a.m. onwards, the systems will not be available for several ours, at worst until the weekend.
Due to hardware works, there will be an interruption of the TSM-Service between 10 am and 2 pm.
Adobe Connect will not be accessible during 9 am and 1 pm.

Sophos Security Report for 2013
Sophos has released a new security report for 2013. It is publisehd online and available as a pdf download.
The PC-Pool -104 will be closed due to an e-examination. Please note that this will make the printers unavailable during this time frame.
On Dec. 10, 2010 the third workshop of the E-Learning qualification programme wil ltake place. Registration is still possible.
Due to a continued education programme on Friday 23 Nov. most of the IT Services staff are not available during the day.

Tuesday, Nov. 20 - 10 am to 1 pm
In order to finish the hardware change, the servers arch and arch2 will have to be shut down for the above-indicated time frame.
On Tuesday, Nov. 20, there will be an interruption of the mailing service due to a software update.
The Microsoft national license for Windows 7/8 and Microsoft Office is now available.
At the above-mentioned time there will be works on our redundant internet connection. The hardware change should not affect the general connection.
In order to exchange a defunct FC-adapter, the TSM-Server will be shut down. This will affect "arch," and "arch2" as well as all tape drives. The repair works will start at 10 a. m. and should take about two hours....

Freikon-Update
On Wednesday, October 31 there will be a Freikon update. The server will be unavailable from 8 to 10 a.m.
CampusOnline is offline for maintenance. The system will be available at 6 p.m. the latest.
